Merry Christmas!

We've had some funny times around our house lately.

Did you know that you can pinch the outer skin of your elbow or someone else's as hard as you can and it still won't hurt? One night we just went around pinching each other and being amazed. That's all it takes to amuse us!

One evening we discussed what would be the best name for a pet hawk that can go out falconing. So, we imagined standing outside with our arm properly bent in the air as a landing perch and calling each name for the bird to return: "Here, Chicken! Come on, Chicken!" Or how about, "Marco.....Marco," ever waiting for the silent Polo. Our final and favorite choice was, "Nobody!" Someone comes along and asks what you are doing with your arm in the air and the only response you can give is, "I'm waiting for Nobody."

We spent Thanksgiving with Steve's parents and two single ladies from our church at our house. Lots of yummy food, of course.

Caleb's hunting hasn't been too successful so far. Several waterfowl, which make into good jerky, a few pheasants, ooo la la, and one rabbit. No deer. Just much hiking. His partner's post is on the blog after this letter.

Sorry we haven't posted pictures in a long while. Ummm, I lost the digital camera. Poof, it's gone. The wonderful upside to that is I'm finally catching up on scrapbooking by not taking anymore pictures! I guess that's kind of cheating. If we left it at your house, please send it home.

Tell me your funny tales too because winter can always use another laugh.

Blessings,
